Claridge House ($)
Claridge House is a cute, boutique hotel in the Gold Coast neighborhood. It’s a 10 minute walk from the lake, a 20 minute walk to the sprawling shops of Magnificent Mile, and a brisk 90 minute walk to our venue (all jokes aside, Nate and Jen have done this walk many times and love it!).

Holiday Inn Chicago Downtown – Wolf Point ($$)
This hotel has a TON of significance to Nate – his first job’s office was located in the same building as this hotel. He and his friends from work would sometimes sneak into the 15th floor lobby of this hotel to quietly work in their comfy chairs. You are (literally) steps away from the river, even closer to downtown, and near all the cool bars and restaurants that Nate used to hang out at. We’re so pumped we were able to secure this hotel as part of our block, its location alone makes this a no-brainer!

The Robey ($$$)
One very cold winter night, we were out with a couple friends and were absolutely freezing. In search of warm shelter (preferably serving some drinks), we stumbled into a swanky bar called Clever Coyote. The drinks were fancy, the ambiance was incredible, and only until we left did we realize that it was the bar attached to The Robey. The Robey is an elegant hotel located right in the heart of both Wicker Park and Bucktown, two of our favorite neighborhoods to both shop and eat at in Chicago. Not only do you get a nice hotel room with this pick, but you get 1) the aforementioned swanky bar (Clever Coyote), 2) a coffee shop (Cafe Robey) on the first floor serving drinks and bites, 3) a rooftop bar with a very nice view (The Up Room), and 4) a pool (though in November, you’re not going to be swimming in it). Best of all, you’re super close to our venue, neighborhood, and the CTA blue line!
